Today we are pleased to provide you with the Major Release 2.0. Download available. There are two major new features in this update. The web interface got a fancy look and a new Connection Editor 2.0 was created. In this blog article we will show you all the new features in detail.
The menu is integrated in a sidebar and can be moved in and out with a mouseover.
In addition, the Burger menu can be used to fix the menu so that the sidebar remains open.
In addition, the menu structure has been improved. In summary, the menu has been reduced to three essential entries (Connector, Connection, Scheduler). This gives the user a better and tidy overview.
The Admin menu item contains all administrative submenu items, which are also accessible via a submenu context.
All elements can now be displayed via a tabular view. The system remembers the view that the user last selected and uses it on the other pages as well. This list view was additionally extended by a filter function, so that the user can find his elements better.
The creation masks are now displayed within a page. The forms are mapped into separate containers, so that the user can better see how the fields belong together. With this new display, the user has a better overview of his entries and the field validation only takes place on one page.
Another new feature is the Connection Editor 2.0. We have made it our mission to make a Connection readable for everyone. Therefore, the new representation is based on a business modeling diagram. The editor is separated into three sections. The Business, Technical and Details layouts ensure that the user has everything in view and can edit his connection more easily. All technical steps are defined in the Technical Layout. The Business Layout, which can be used optionally, is able to represent a simplification of the connection. The Detail Layout centralizes all details from an item in one layout. All three areas can be exported to fullscreen mode or even to separate windows, allowing the user to work on multiple monitors.
